Reviews

I just wanted to give you some honest feedback about my stay at Zoëtry — and I really appreciate all the effort you put into organizing the trips every year, It’s especially disappointing when a trip you’ve been looking forward to, and one that’s marketed/priced as a high-end, all-inclusive experience, doesn’t deliver. They was definitely a clear disconnect between expectations and reality with my Zoëtry experience. The food was another letdown. There were very few options, we endured the exact same menu everyday! This all inclusive high end resort had a total of 1 1/2 restaurants. Room service was a complete mess; one night I waited over three hours for 1 item only to get burnt cold pizza. Evening shift room service failures intentionally, and that was when they answered the phone, which was rare. Honestly, the quality and variety throughout the stay just weren’t there. It began on the wrong foot when there was no welcome gift bag in the room (which was supposed to be included), we had to ask several times and when it did arrive the day before I left, it was completely empty, the bathroom cleanliness was visibly questionable and I had to contend with cold showers for three nights in a row. That alone was incredibly frustrating, especially at a resort that’s supposed to be luxury and wellness space. To be clear, this was supposed to be a beach resort/ access to the beach from the resort. I was shocked that Zoetry didn’t have exclusive access, but any beach access was non existent on the property, and to enjoy the beach, you have to walk across the street to another resort. The other disappointment was the fact the resort didn’t offer a shuttle for guest to go 10min into town. I was forced to spending $40 a day just to get off the property and explore local area, which added up quickly. The issues with food variety, room service delays, lack of basic amenities like the welcome gift, cold showers, and limited beach access are particularly surprising (and frankly unacceptable) for a resort positioning itself in the luxury wellness space. It’s especially frustrating when these issues aren’t just one-off problems but seem to reflect broader operational shortcomings. That said, I do want to give credit where it’s due, the day staff were very friendly and tried to make things better by arranging a private dining experience with the chef, which was a really nice touch and one of the few highlights of the trip. But overall, the experience was frustrating and definitely not worth what I paid. I know you don’t control how the resort operates. I just need to be completely honest regarding my observations, expectations and experiences. I would definitely not recommend it for anyone looking for a true all inclusive experience.

I was really looking forward to my stay at Zoëtry, but unfortunately, the resort did not live up to expectations. From the moment I arrived, things felt underwhelming. There was no welcome gift bag in my room, which was supposed to be part of the experience. Even worse, I had to take cold showers for three nights—completely unacceptable for a resort at this price point. The food options were very limited, and room service was a disaster. I waited over three hours one night, only to receive burnt food. The lack of variety and quality in the meals was disappointing overall. Beach access was another letdown. It’s extremely limited, and to enjoy a proper beach day, you have to walk across the street to another property—not exactly what you expect when booking a beach resort. On top of that, I had to spend $40 per day just to get transportation off the property to explore the local area. That said, the day staff were very friendly and tried to make the best of the situation. They did arrange a private dining experience with the chef, which was interesting and one of the few highlights of the trip. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. The lack of amenities, poor service execution, and extra costs made this a frustrating and disappointing vacation. I won’t be returning to this resort, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for a true luxury.
